The Dusty Baker

The Dusty Baker is a performer, writer and foodie obsessed with blending gluten-free flours and beating eggs whites into stiff-peaked submission.  Since the age of 12, she’s battled Lyme disease and the inevitable effect of poor digestion and food allergies.  This has resulted in 18 years of playing with her food – exploring bizarre foods an combinations that both heal and satisfy.  She focuses on gluten-and-dairy free eating, while taking vegetarian and vegan and diets into consideration as well in her recipe developments and restaurant explorations.  She posts new recipes and spunky stories on her blog, The Dusty Baker, and lives in Washington Heights with too many spatulas and her standing mixer.

The Dusty Baker currently writes The Dusty Review for Bromography.  The column explores NYC eateries which accommodate  food sensitivities.
