Versatile Blogger Award
Bromography has been honored with a Versatile Blogger Award from Chris at Gourmet Fashion. Chris explores delicious European cuisine with an emphasis on fresh, organic and local (her own garden) food sources.
According to the rules, I must tell (1) seven things about myself, (2) pass the award on to 15 deserving bloggers and (3) notify the awardees. Here goes:
- Pomerac (Malay Apple) is my favorite fruit. It is great fresh, but is also wonderful for pickling!
- I once attempted a “jailbreak’” at a live poultry market. (I may be a carnivore, but I am not heartless!)
- I was traumatized by a peach at age 9, and have never eaten a peach (or peach flavored items) since.
- I make a wicked chicken vindaloo.
- For me, sitting down to a pot of Yorkshire Gold Tea, two scones and clotted cream is a form of meditation.
- I love my Schlemmertopf (clay roasting pot) because saying the name is fun.
- Peanut butter and banana sandwiches make me feel like a kid.

Congrats on your award! I was just telling me kids about all the worms I found in food growing up…I can appreciate your trauma. I guess we were lucky our food wasn’t covered in pesticides

I found a small worm in a peach which I was eating. I suppose this is better than finding half of a worm, but it was still unpleasant.
