Throw Your Wings in the Ring
It is time for serious Brooklynites to “throw their wings in the ring!” The second annual Best Wings in Brooklyn competition will be held on February 12th at 2:00pm. Over a dozen serious competitors will present their wings in the hopes of winning the coveted title. This is no easy challenge. Last year’s champion, Super Wings NY (who went on to beat Bobby Flay in a Throwdown) will be back to defend the title. Also, some formidable wingers like Buffalo Cantina, Wing Wagon, Rocky Sullivan’s and Kettle Black Bar will be there.
Regardless of who takes the crown, there are two real winners: The Food Bank for New York City (all the entry fees will be donated to the organization) and the attendees. The best wings in the borough will be available for free while the judges determine who will be the 2011 champ.
