Condiments Are Calling

The formula for Pommes Frites is pretty simple.  Twice fried Belgian fries are served in paper cones of three sizes.  An assortment of condiments are available to suit almost any taste.    I have  never memorized the menu, yet the selection of over 30 condiments seem to haunt me.  Sometimes it is  only a whisper..sometimes it seems like a shout.  It can strike at any time.  With no apparent provocation, it will occur to me that I have not yet tried the pomegranate teriyaki mayo.  The sauces apparently have hypnotic abilities.

I have been working my way through the list of condiments for the past year and only have two more left to try.  I had thought that I would soon be free of this haunting, but lately I have been fondly remembering the first sauce which hooked me, the smoked eggplant mayo.
