Sam’s Falafel Truck

Let me to introduce you a little known food discovery,  Sammy’s Falafel Truck.   This is one of those eateries that you just have to know when and where to find it because it doesn’t exactly have an address.  It’s a street vendor that normally parks on Liberty Plaza, off of Broadway, across from the new World Trade Center under construction.  It can be found half way down on the block, on the left side of the park.  Try to go between noon and 2pm.  If you go too late, you run the risk that Sam may run out of food. Just look for the long line.   It seems to be the only truck with a perpetually long line, with good reason.  For $4, it is the best falafel I have ever had in NYC, and I have had quite a few.  It is better than others which I have paid more than twice as much for.  Perfectly seasoned and perfectly prepared.  For $4, you can not go wrong.
