Cupcake Cafe

As you have probably noticed, there is a definite cupcake craze.  Cupcakes are everywhere.  I have even read an article about the cupcake “bubble”. There are many theories about where this trend originated.  Everything from Sex in the City to a dieting fad has been credited with starting the obsession with cupcakes.

While cakes of any size have always garnered my attention, my interest in cupcakes really peaked about six years ago.  While planning a birthday party for my niece, I passed a bakery window filled with cupcakes decorated with delicate buttercream flowers.  My niece loved flowers, in fact, flower had been one of her first words.  They seemed a perfect fit for my dainty niece.  I immediately purchased each flavor offered by Cupcake  Cafe to try them out.  After my first taste, I knew they were perfect.  The buttercream frosting was just sweet enough without being too sweet.  The actual cake was delicately flavored and moist. The cakes were a hit with the birthday girl.  In fact, she spent a lot of time staring at the flowers in awe before eating a cupcake.

There are many cupcakes in the market that dazzle with cute designs and complicated recipes.  Do not fall for the razzle dazzle.  If you want to try a cupcake that will definitely survive the bubble, head to the Cupcake Cafe!
