February Foodie Friends

The Foodie Friends team has continued its mission of empowering fellow foodies to improve their lives.  This month, we are raising money for Ivette Sorayda Gutierrez Munoz‘s food market in Nicaragua.  Ivette has been in business for four years, and is seeking an 15 month loan to increase her inventory.  If you are interested in loaning her as little as $25, you may get more details hereDon’t forget to register as a Foodie Friend!

Here’s an update on previous loans:

  • Our team made a loan to Nadia Sahouri for her food service business in Palestine.  The loan term is 8 months.
  • We were able to raise the financing for Liliana Sinacay Arimuya’s food service business in Peru.
  • Gonchigsuren Gunjidmaa has repaid 12% of the loan for her butchery in Mongolia.  There are 22 months left on the loan term.
  • Nancy Kaku has repaid 58% of the loan for her fishing business in Sudan.  There are 6 months left on the loan term.
  • Maria Cristina Yupanqui Chambilla has paid off the loan for her catering business in Peru in full!  The loan helped Maria to take her business to the next level.
