2009 Vendy Award Winners

Our adventure in street cuisine has come to a close. The 2009 Vendy Awards were held on on Saturday, September 26th, and Bromography’s Pick won the top honor!  The Country Boys Martinez Taco Truck won as the judges choice for Top Vendor.

Although, the bromography reader poll yielded a tie, the Grey Poupon People’s Choice Award went to the Biryani Cart.

It may take me a week or so to recover from the actual awards cermony, as I sampled all the finalists and the dessert contestants.  Once I am back in tasting shape, I plan to get a head start on the 2010 Vendy’s on September 25, 2010!!
